Cooking & Cooking Classes

Traditional flavors at Makis Inn Resort

Cooking at Makis Inn Resort is not just food. It is memory, family, and place.

In the fully equipped and spacious kitchen of Makis Fish Cuisine, guests have the opportunity to get to know the traditional recipes of Mrs. Nelli Korontini through hands-on cooking and pastry classes.

Classes take place:

  • from May 1 to June 30
  • and from September 15 to October 30

periods that are ideal for those who want to combine accommodation, gastronomy, and local experiences.

All recipes are prepared exclusively with local products:
eggs, fresh fish and seafood, meat, vegetables, and seasonal fruit.

The olive oil used is extra virgin olive oil produced by the Korontini Estate, rich in polyphenols and nutrients.

The class experience

The classes are delivered by Mrs. Nelli herself, in small groups of 1 to 10 people, so that the personal character and direct contact are maintained. Participation is subject to a fee, depending on the type of class.

The program includes:

  • Demonstration Classes (90’)
You watch Mrs. Nelli prepare her recipes, explaining each stage in detail, the “secrets” of traditional cooking, and answering questions.
  • Cooking Classes (90’)
You take an active part in the process, cooking together with Mrs. Nelli the recipes she has selected for you, in a warm and authentic environment.

The experience is completed around the table, exactly as it happens in a Greek home.
